Also in my private life I am passionate about astronomy and aerospace science, e.g.,
I participated in the "International Space Camp (ISC) 1996" in U.S. Space
Rocket Center Huntsville/Alabama (USA). I chased the total solar eclipses 1999 in
Siófok (Hungary) and 2000 in Lusaka (Zambia), experienced a Zero-G-Flight 2004
at Star City/Moscow (Russia), and hovered on an airflow with a maximum speed of up to
270km/h 2010 in Bottrop (Germany) which was as smooth as in real freefall skydiving.
Next to this, I enjoy doing art (especially glass working, acrylic-collages) and
sport (e.g. synchronized figure skating, hang-gliding).
